Currently I am serving University of Swat as Professor of Environmental Sciences and am Chairman of the Department of Environmental and Conservation Sciences.
My research interests include Spatial and Temporal Dynamics of Land Use Changes, and Seasonal Snow Cover Changes in Hindu Kush Himalayas (HKH). I also focus on Climate Change and Floods Hydrology using GIS Mapping, Natural Resource Management, Upland Agriculture and Livelihood under the Climate Change Scenario
