Specialties of Miriam Jackson:
I am a glaciologist working on subglacial processes, glacier hazards and glacier dynamics. I have worked on glaciers in Norway, Antarctica, Greenland and Bhutan. I led the international project INDICE that studied the Response of the hydrological system in India to Climate Change. I established regular glacier measurements in Bhutan.
