Specialties of Per Angelstam:
Our research group "forest, landscape and society" specializes in applied interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research based on empirical studies using multiple local landscapes as case studies in European regions with different systems of governance and economic histories. Our focus is on boreal forests in Sweden and NW Russia, and the Carpathian ecoregion as landscape laboratories.
