Specialties of Silverio Abati:
I have studied and dealt with ecology and botany since 2006; my activities in training and employment has gradually focused on inland water ecosystemsI am especially dedicated to experimental research on the development of tools for assessing the ecological status of rivers and conservation of river habitats. I have also analyzed in depth the integration of the "Habitat" and "Water" EU Directives for the management of riverine SCIs. I am conducting studies on the invasive behavior of exotic plant species in aquatic environments. I have published and presented some national and international works concerning plant ecology, botany, phycology, and bryology. I regularly use GIS tools and statistical exploration software for analysis of environmental data, even on large datasets.
