Specialties of Andreas Bruder:
I'm studying aquatic microbial ecology in streams and alpine catchments with a food-web perspective and a focus on aquatic fungi and insects. I use the knowledge generated during these studies for the development of novel molecular and functional indicators to help understanding and mitigating the consequences of environmental change on aquatic biodiversity and ecosystem functioning.
